A Stór Mo Chroí (Irish for "Treasure of My Heart") is a limited edition linocut print pulled by hand using Caligo Safe-Wash oil-based ink. Following traditional printmaking practice, each individual piece is hand-signed, titled, and numbered in pencil on the front.
Rooted in Irish Gaelic culture and sentiment, this original design depicts a central heart formed by intricate Celtic knotwork, surrounded by a border of delicate flowers. Exploring themes of enduring love and Celtic heritage, this piece celebrates the cherished bonds that anchor us to the people and places we hold dear.
This exclusive release features two distinct variations:
Black & White: An edition of 18 impressions, printed on 10" × 10" traditional printmaking paper.
Hand-Painted Watercolor: An edition of 10 impressions, printed on 10" × 10" Stonehenge watercolor paper and individually hand-painted.
Each print is uniquely inked and hand-burnished in my studio, resulting in subtle variations that reflect the beautiful, authentic nature of traditional relief printing.
