Whispers in the Midnight Forest is a limited edition linocut print pulled by hand using Caligo Safe-Wash oil-based ink. Following traditional printmaking practice, each individual piece is hand-signed, titled, and numbered in pencil on the front.
Inspired by the quiet magic of the night, this original design captures a tender, moonlit moment between a mother bear and her cub in the heart of the forest. The piece honors the intimate bond between parent and child—reflecting those still, hushed hours when the rest of the world is at rest.
Exclusive Edition Details: Strictly limited to a total edition of just 12 impressions across two paper sizes (printed image size approx. 10.8" × 10.8"):
12" × 12" Fine Art Rice Paper: An edition of 8 impressions printed on natural white, acid-free rice paper.
16" × 16" Fine Art Rice Paper: An edition of 4 impressions printed on natural white, acid-free rice paper, offering extra margin for framing and matting.
Each print is uniquely inked and hand-burnished on lightweight, durable rice paper in my studio, resulting in subtle variations in texture and organic fiber patterns that reflect the beautiful, authentic nature of traditional relief printing.
Frame not included. Prints are safely packaged in a clear sleeve and shipped in a rigid mailer or protective tube, depending on the chosen size.
